Dear Friend, Bookworm is honored to release our book Bebeanche Kazar ( The Wedding of the Frogs) by Late Shri Manoharrai Sardessai at the Goa Lit Fest on Tuesday 20th December at 11.30 am.
The poem is orginally written by the poet in 2 scripts of Konkani. Both of which have been presented in our book and brought to life by award winning Goan artist Shilpa Mayenkar Naik. For the first time Bebeache Kazar will have an English transalation and enable the non Konkani reader to capture the rich cultural depictions and satirical humour of Dr. Sardessai's poetry. The book is printed using the silk screen technique and will be available for sale at the Goa Lit Fest.
