Join The CHRISTmas Walking Pilgrimage & Experience a
Different CHRISTmas
23rd Dec'11, 6 - 9 pm, Beh. St. Anthony's Church,
Vakola, Santacruz E, Mumbai
Here is an exciting opportunity, as we challenge
ourselves to be 'doers of the Word, rather than mere hearers" and request you
to do your bit to help. Our focus this yuletide season has been on putting
CHRIST back into CHRISTmas, spread the true Joy of Giving, as the Word teaches
us and pray for our partners, activists, collaborators, etc. This we have now
decided to do in public - bearing witness to baby Jesus and telling the world
real message of why HE was born...
We urge you to join in by - Praying that this walking
pilgrimage will have an impact, as our Good Friday one does. We also need your
presence at this evangelical & ecumenical walking pilgrimage, which will bless
thousands. We would greatly appreciate, if you could make the following
announcement in your groups, churches, associations, organisations, etc.
Mumbai Christians cutting across denominations and
other distinctions will come to unitedly enact dramatically, the 3 walks of the
first Christmas - Mary & Joseph, the Shepherds and the 3 kingly wise men - with
a walking pilgrimage on 23rd December, 2011. The walk would start at 6 pm from
behind St. Anthony's Church in Vakola, Santacruz East and move towards Kalina
and back to near St. Charles Convent on St. Anthony's Street at 7 pm for the
enactment of the first Christmas, Carols and Worship, which will conclude in an

We also propose to give a hamper to about 1000
Christian orphans, destitute, street children, etc. whom we have identified in
Mumbai alone. If you feel prompted by the Spirit to sponsor or make a
contribution in kind towards this CHRISTmas programme, please get in touch. The
harvest is plentiful but the labourers & resources are few.
