The monograph was published by the Mangalore Capuchins. It employs the town's
common scripts: Riftic (Roman) and Kanarese.
I believe the Romi used is a reflection of the coastal Bishop's Conference
endeavour to introduce a standard language in Konkani liturgy for the entire
country. Here is an excerpt from the the introduction:-
Mogacheamno, ek zannar oxem mhuunta, "Jem kuttumb sangata magta, tem
sangata ballta." Amkam Konkani kristavank kutmantlim magnim ek khollontulli
rivaaz. Her-ek kristhi kuttumb zavn asa magneachem kuttumb. Sokallinchi
bhetovnni ani sanjhechim magnim nathulem kuttumb gavant mellchena. Tich
magneachi rivaz amchea mai bhaxent mukrsun vorunk, amchea kuttumbani pallunk
ani amchea bhurgeank vollok korun divn, magneachi vhoddvikai vaprunk hem
