Fr Cristovam Caldeira, the parish priest of Santa Cruz, succumbed to a
massive heart attack at around 7.30 pm on January 26. The otherwise very
active priest had even administered Holy Communion to one of his
parishioners, who has been under treatment at the GMC Hospital, this
morning.
