Goa Sudharop is pleased to welcome Jayesh A. Raut as a new trustee, joining the
Goa team. Jayesh is young, dynamic, and well acquainted with Goa Sudharop's
mission of building a better Goan world. Jayesh is head of the National Service
Scheme (NSS) at Fr. Agnel's College, Pilar. He has a passion for social service.
Educational Qualification:
1. B.A. Goa University., 2. M.A. Goa University., 3. B. Ed Goa University.
Currently studying M.B.A. (H.R.) Bharatiyar University.
Profession and work experience:
Assistant Professor of Konkani language and literature at Fr. Agnel College.
In addition to his several skills, he is a drama Writer, Director, Actor, youth
leader and street play trainer.
Jayesh has also published a book, articles, poems and short-stories. He has
acted in a Konkani video album/ documentaries and been a professional quiz
master on television channels in Goa. He has conducted special learning course
in Konkani and been a member of the Red Ribbon club (AIDS awareness).
Achievements:
1. President of MES college ‘konkani samit’ (2004).
2. President of ‘konkani saraspat mandal’ (2006-07).
3. General Secretary Nirmala education society (2007-08).
4. Attended national level NCC camps.
5. Attended NSS camps.
6. Won prizes in the Konkani literary field.
7. Doing social work under NSS scheme from last four years.
Languages Known:
Konkani, English, Hindi, Marathi, Spanish.
