I lived in To from '67 - '76 and even drove a car on MacDonald-Cartier; but
last time I was there (2008) the place utterly intimitaded me. This time I'll
visit To. but won't live there; on the other hand dear old PEI (birthplace)
will be 'underwhelming' after the cultural mosaic of Goa/India. Halifax (where
I spent summer of 1950 in Naval Officer's training) may have enough urban buzz
to keep me from perpetual doze. One of my big ambitions is to walk to the mall
and have Tim Horton coffee & oatmeal cookie; but reading Maclean's (to which I
have subscribed for more than a decade) leaves me wondering if even the cookie
is also made with 'frozen dough'?
