While parts of Goa are an open toilet (the Candolim/Calangute/Baga/Anjuna belt
for example and the recent sewer gathering aka Sunburn music "festival"), the
entire Goan political system operates in the gutter. The truth is not posted on
Goan cyber-forums (one would have to be really naive to believe it is) and the
political rats who destroy the system work in the dark and use the media (front
page news in the newspapers and "breaking news" on Goan TV are all political
news, serving powerful mining and building interests). The only honest news is
on the Sports and Obituary pages.
Goa, RIP.
