I had missed Roland's review till I found some discussion here and
checked it in the archives. I remember reading it long time ago,
recommended, if I think correctlfy, by the late author/painter Ladis
da Silva. I wish some Goa publishers republish it and make available
at a lower cost than it's available on Amazon/
I read Roland's review of Just Matata and this book too is an valuable
addition to what Roland called the Diaspora folklore. I haven't
finished reading Just Matata as the Christmas season interrupted my
reading and some other reasons. I wish to resume reading it.
Roland's reviews are not reviews are not in the conventional sense.
Maybe avoiding mixing personal history would make the reviews better.
