BICHOLIM: Love to upload photos on facebook - a community site proved
dangerous for a girl from Bicholim when some unknown person used her photo
to create fake ID and send obscene links.
As per the complaint registered by a girl in Bicholim she had a photo
uploaded on the facebook along with her friend. She was shocked to see
another profile in which her same photo was used after cropping it
alongside another person.When the girl tried to know about the identity of
the other profile the unknown person warned her through chat and also sent
her obscene sites.
Following the incident the girl registered a complaint with the Bicholim
police. A case was registered under section 66 A, 67 A of IT Act. The
police is further investigating the case.
