The 'Good Friday' adventure seems to be haunting the BJP ten years later. As
usual BJP blames it on the absence of minorities in the party prefering to
forget that the support of three minority MLAs that it enjoyed when in
government. And what about the St. Francis Xavier's Feast on December 3 and
Gandhi Jayanti on October 2 which were also singled out for being eliminated as
public holidays?
Looks like that BJP in its desperation to rout the Congress, its main obstacle
to power in Goa, is ready to suspend its 'Minority Fry Day' agenda. There is
always another day for tackling the minorities once its opponents have been
decimated, isn't it?
For the BJP fan club on Goanet, recalling excesses of BJP rule in Goa will mean
support to the Congress.
