Hello All,
I am making up a list of places to visit places to make drawings, which
will later be carried through as independent drawings, and through other
organs. In this regard I would appreciate names of places that have ruins,
interesting looking monuments — including religious spaces. A few examples
below.
Please whenever possible give a reason as to what you find interesting
about the place. With due respect I think the 9,500 + on Goanet who do not
comment will find this a worthy post to have a say on.
EX:
Ruins: Santa Manica, Candolim, arches, walls, forts (specific areas) etc
Churches/chapels. crosses; On slopes, with interesting (as per your
thoughts), pulpits, baptismal founts, belfries, corner that appear to be
particularly calming -- inside or outside.
Graveyards: Even if it be to meet a pedo, or the keeper of a crematorium
Temples/Mosques/Caves-viharas, chaityas, tankis
Bunders/jetties
