God,Save my Goa!
Last five years were worst for Goa.Goa did changed at a very rapid pace during
the last five years but definitely from bad to worst.Goa had the worst chief
minister in the history of goan politics who could not take any independent
decision and could go to any ugly extent to save his money-making kodel.Goa had
a total corrupt government,Congress partner,MGP accepted the same.The
government was totally for the rich and the powerful.This government has
ruined the traditional fishermen,farmers, etc, to make way for illegal projects
by the rich.With regard to CRZ,the Digamber Kamat government was very fast to
pass a bill and save a five star hotel and no minister in the government was
bothered about the traditional fishermen.
The state witnessed highest number of agitations against the last
government.The former Portuguese colony witnessed different rules for different
people.Crime rate increased like anything.Goa Police themselves were involved
in drug dealing with names of some sons of ministers in the picture but no law
authorities seriously concerned about the same.A sailor named Cypriano was
murdered by the Police,a woman was picked up by the Police and
molested.Murders,rapes,robberies are very much common in this one time very
beautiful state of Goa.A Russian killed a goan,a coastal village,Morjim
dominated by Russians and no concerned authorities showing concern towards this
increasing Crime.Is this we expected in Liberated Goa?DGP Arya was transferred
for not bowing down to the illiterate politicians in power confirming where our
state stands as far as law is concerned.This beautiful state is turning from
heaven to hell.
Government jobs were sold at a very high cost,the range of money varies as per
the post.Our chief minister was more interested in the development of migrants
rather than niz goenkars.Ration cards are very openly gifted to these migrants
to create vote-banks.Our agricultural land has just been grabbed as per their
wishes in the name of destructive projects.Hills are been razed into flat
surfaces.Our holy water has been polluted and nothing heard from the so called
SHAH commissions with regard to illegal mining till now.
Now the question is,will we vote the same people back into power?will we elect
the same government back again who had planned to sell Goa for all in the name
of Regional Plan 2011 and 2021?Are we interested in the future of our
children?Politicians in power even dared to play tricks with Goencho saib.Goa
desperately needs a change in governance.Vote for change and hope for a better
future or Vote for same and get Goa ruined for all.VIVA GOA!
