TSKK Awards presentation ceremony - Pics and Video I must say, it was a well organised function Thanks to TSKK headed by Pratap Naik SJ
Well, I arrived late, not because I was late, infact, we got down at Porvorim at 5.10pm I really thought TSKK is somewhere near O Conquero main road, but no I could not see it from the car then they dropped me just after Clergy Home (Devashree colony). I asked so many people, the name BB Road and TSKK,konknni.. How could they when they are all Goan looking migrants? I walked and Walked back to the Tank until I find a Traffic cop. He too was confused when asked Bakibab Borkar Road, however he directed me to an inside road. I walked and walked..I was halfway through, I asked Goan looking lady but she replied in Hindi ‘Pat’ta nahim’ (Don’t know) I was on the right track (road) though.. I saw one sign board saying BB Road and walked further and further and finally I made it just after 6pm. ‘Hanv vattevoilian boram hayit eilom’ As said, the function was well organised with live brass band ‘Mother Teresa brass band from Honavar, Karnataka. I missed about 30 minutes. Looks like the function did start on time as stated (5.30pm) I liked that too, don’t really remember when was the last time something like this started on time. Well done TSKK. But where is Cyriaco Dias? And who’s that ‘konknno’ on the dais along with the awardees and chief guest? Well, the Konknno was none other than our Cyriaco himself. With Zontir or Puddvem or Dhoti and the 'topi' cap, he did look like a real ‘Konknno’ After all, we also understand, he was good at it too (on stage) I even like the Idea where all media men or cameramen stood one side to take the pics (except the last one) without obstructing the clear view of the seated audience. That’s the way it should be organised, hope others will learn from it too. You only know how it feels like when you seat in the audience, particularly in front rows and some people come right infront of you in the name of clicking photos.
