Selma, Just to be unnecessarily provocative -- you know terms like "home"
and "foreign" are rather relative. I see nothing odd in what you described
above.
For instance, when Eugene wrote for India Abroad and (I think) Frontline,
he was very much of a "foreign correspondent" (from the Indian
perspective). And he did this while sitting at "home". In his case, Canada.
