On and off I get an email, a Chat window opens with Goans, about the state of the US. More often than note the person on the other end has made up their mind. They have concluded something, emboldened in their sadness upon our reality, perceived or true, here in US.

As I often tell people, unless one has the comprehension, one can barely engage with the complex mire that is American Politics. True its going down but what does it mean say to you (decent, smart, extra-smart Goan)for instance? How do you (a Goan) or anyone to merely point that out. Truth be told, most people who contact me (Goans) simply serve up platitudes or baseline criticism which is often smarmy. As if to tell me, in plain words -- don't you see (venantius) that yes you are in America, but boy are you screwed. (Disonam tucam Bab-venantius ki voi tum Ameika assa, pun avois tumcam samkem zonvlyat). Its my bed that we are talking about for crying out loud, or should I see it as a lament. : ) And this is not an illusion on my part. Just so you know, the Left is not making demands, simply cause they are horrified at the thought of the other side getting in. Think of that complex reality, that impotence. But in their fear having the same number down by their own vodil (leader). Then revert to what happens at home, and see whether any lessons can be learnt to improve our own home realities. To simply mean, learn something (as many have in certain avenues, entrepreneurship with its legal fictions, etc). Also think how many of you were charmed, and continue to be with people who are extremely articulate. Time to stop, before I go berserk.
