Has the British MP Keith Vaz lost his political bearings? He is in
India to repair the India-Britain relationship and he should be doing
just that. Instead, he is in Goa and unnecessarily getting involved in
local politics. What was the need to go to Valanka Alemao's election
campaign and give his vote for her? I feel Vaz would lose lot of
goodwill that Goans in Goa are having for him.
With so much political knowledge and experience, Keith should have kep
away from playing partisan politics. He has bigger issues to tackle on
the India-Britain front instead of giving his valuable time to support
certain candidates, or perhaps just Valanka. If he is in Goa for a
brief holiday, then he should be resting.
Shocking indeed, to say the least.
