I have made no secret of my extreme contempt for Digambar Kamat.
The man should be in jail for his looting of Goa for personal profit,
for his sanction of the many illegalities, for his selling out of Goa
to outside interests. He along with Pratapsing are right up there
in my list of devils incarnate.
BUT HE WAS RIGHT TO CANCEL THE CARNIVAL, the govt sponsored
event, that is. No decent folk would think twice about it.
Yet we have disgusting, petty hypocrites on Goanet (Floriano Lobo,
among them) who have imputed sinister religious motives to the
cancellation.
