Sunaparanta presents the screening of a documentary film ‘So Close/So
Far’ This documentary will be presented by Portuguese writer, Raquel
Ochoa. The documentary is courtesy Gulbenkian Foundation.

Synopsis:
Wherever you are in this tempting global monoculture, you are part of an
accelerated homogenization of habits, tastes and cultures; a world where
everyday experiences have become more and more indistinguishable.
Between memory and everyday life, 21 filmmakers were invited to choose a
particular aspect of their lives and to make a 5 minute short film out
of it, in which they try to reflect on the miscegenation of “Global
Culture”.
This project developed within the scope of Gulbenkian Distance and
Proximity Programme.
