It was a very sad day when this tragedy took place specially for the bereaved
families of the beloved ones and we seek God's intervention through the Holy
Spirit to strengthen these families with lots of courage and may the souls of
the departed rest in eternal peace.Amen.

Now coming to the main question :

Who represents this constituency (MLA) and how many times has this so called
representative been elected and what has he done and what has he not done and
why and what have people of this constituency done in ensuring safety measures
at Calvim, they kept on electing the same representative over and over again
but at the cost of these innocent lives? I blame people of this consitutency
for this tragedy and not any one else.

God has blessed us with wisdom i wonder if we lost our wisdom i am asking the
people of this consitutency knowing very well the dangerous path these young
children have been going through due to lack of a proper bridge for so many
years couldn't any one atleast for once address this attention to the media
since the elected representative has lost vision to this problem ?

I wish the media could have had some inital knowledge of this situation and
highlighted the condition of Calvim years ago ..we have big advertisements on
papers on huge projects, IFFI,remarks by opposition leaders, inaugrations by
Govt on various buildings, film stars flying down and so forth but if you sit
back and introspect and compare the lost lives of the young one ...everything
is a farce and false ...now there is an inquiry into this incident and it will
go on and on and those responsible will be absolved. Media you are doing a
great job but sometimes leave this political issues out of your news for some
time give it a break and do some Project monitoring and evaluation of each
consitituency and accordingly realease the scorecard of each MLA and Ministers
of their consituency be it Govt or Opposition or independent and then expose
them this is how we will able to deal with the situation.

We cancelled Carnival on account of this sad tragedy i do not know if it was
good or bad , my question how come not a single Minister nor MLA visited the
Calvim constituency be it last year or begining of this year or several years
back and felt to address this issue of a new bridge be it in the Assembly and
find a solution by building a new bridge and then you have state mourning as an
eyewash , did we stop eating on that day , was there a hunger strike , was
there a Goa bandh, or did we not watch TV in our homes , did we switch off our
radios listening to music on that day or we slept hungry....if the Govt wanted
to show some respect to the lost kids it's not the state mourning or
cancellation that was needed what they could have done was celebrated the
carnival and forced the representative of that constituency to resign for not
doing much that would certainly bring solace to the families and souls of the
lost kids.

Why do we behave so naive when we could have avoided such a catastrophe, if
people can come out in large numbers to support Anna Hazare how come they did
not come out in large numbers to force the Minister sitting in that
consitutency to resign and what was the opposition doing how come they too did
not make a hue and cry of the entire episode was it a problem of convenience
between Govt and opposition?

To my fellow Goan friends be vigilant on all the current happenings in Goa be
it good or bad and don't be complacent ,use your wisdom wisely pray that such
tragedies do not occur JUST ON THE DAY OF ANOTHER CARNIVAL or ANY OTHER
CELEBRATION.
