Moidekars who have been out of the village for a while will discover on returning that an impromptu vegetable market has sprung up near the Sopo bus stop. Some 4 to 6 Villagers who plant vegetables in the fields nearby have begun to sit by the roadside there with fresh vegetables like tamdi bhaji, bhende, tendllim, vaal, and naab and fruits like bananas. (I'm not a veggie lover so am not sure about the English equivalents for the English speakers among you)They are there even tilll quite lateish around 7 - 8 p.m. I hope they continue to do so and it does not f old up because someone complains that it is illegal. Also because of their popularity I hope they don't become 'smart' and start selling 'ghanti' vegetables from Mapusa there Augusto
