Bernie is a fourth generation East African Goan. Her great-grand uncle Dr
Rosendo Ribeiro of Dr Rosendo Ribeiro Goan School landed in Kenya in 1898. She
is the General Secretary of GOA UK and wife of long-time Goan Association UK
President, Flavio Gracias. Here, she talks about an idyllic childhood in Kenya
and all of it coming to an end. The music in the video is by Mark Fernandes.
