I was very shocked and eventually extremely sad to hear about the untimely
demise of Mr. Mathany Saldanha, one the very few clean politicians who really
cared for his motherland Goa and Goans. He was certainly a very strong
inspiration to me and was indeed a rare breed, who passed away with the
greatest respect from Goans. We must resolve to keep Mathany's memory alive, by
continuing the work he had started and was constantly pursuing I.e. to Save
our Beautiful Land, Environment, Culture and Identity. We will certainly miss
you Mathany, thank you for everything and may your soul rest in peace.
