I have concluded that 8 out of the 12 NGOs being probed are not connected with
the Church because I have read about their activities, and know from their
descriptions that they are neither affiliated with the Church nor involved in
Christian religious services.

Of the 8, Calcutta Urban Service was formed by private citizens for the purpose
of emergency relief, poverty alleviation, urban development, etc.

Harpawat Charitable Trust in Udaipur appears to be a charity established by a
private business.

Rural Uplift Centre in Kanyakumari is a privately run social welfare charity.

Bharatiya Cattle Resource Development Foundation promotes Indian breeds of
cattle.

Dhe Chen Chokhor Kagyupa Monastery is a Buddhist monastery in Dehradun.

IGEP Foundation is an organization run under an Indo-German export promotion
project.

Samast Muslim Khalifa Sumatwal Janat is a Muslim charity.

Heritage Foundation in Varanasi is associated with a corporate hospital, and
runs health awareness camps, etc.

As far as my motives are concerned, they should be clear to any objective
person on Goanet, but not to Soter. My motive in this thread is to expose the
fact that the claim made in the original post by Soter and in the title of this
thread, namely that the Congress government is targeting and harassing
Christians in India is a lie. To me exposing divisive falsehoods propagated in
secular public forums is not a game. I do not consider Soter to be a cat or a
mouse. He is a human being like me.

Cheers,

Santosh
