Hello new members!
Thank you for being part of the Goa Meditation Group. Over the coming
weeks, I will be updating this thread with information, links, and
materials which will assist you in your own practice and spiritual
journey of meditation. Please email me any questions you have and I will
gladly answer them!
In this email you are receiving a brief introduction of the Goa
Meditation Group which is an Invitation Only Group (so all of your posts
here and information shared is only seen within the confines of this
group). Also, attached is a brief background on the Buddha of
Compassion, Avalokiteshvara, which will give you some basic foundation
background on the practice and study we are following.
Finally we are following the Shambhala path of meditation, and the Kagyu
lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. Shambhala is a wide network of spiritual
practitioners and meditators who are committed to the idea of
Enlightened Society. There will be plenty of information I will be
providing to you on Shambhala as well.
