Unless I am,in a hell bound hurry, I avoid Mahiti Ghar and go directly to the Survey dept in Mapusa, a few doors away, in the same building. You can get Survey plans that cost Rs. 150/-, for Rs. 60/- just a few doors away. And for Rs. 10/- you get to see the location of your plot on the computer, so you can be sure you are getting the right thing. You can also get the Forms I & XIV for Rs. 10/- instead of paying Rs. 15/-. Take this tip from a penny pinching "Mataro" retiree living on verge of penury :) :)
