RESPONSE: I have posted the following response on the above blogsite, several hours ago. Somehow, it has NOT yet appeared on the site. NOT very sure if the site accepts responses from individuals who write in their own name ... but here, for the record, is my response: "I believe that ALL reasonable individuals should lobby for the repeal of the archaic "blasphemy law". It must be noted that the said statute has effectively been repealed by its general non-application. While that is good, it is not good enough for the future. That having been noted, IF Mr. Edamaruku has alleged that "the clergy at Velankanni Church in Mumbai were using the sight of water dripping from the feet of a Christ statue to make money from visiting pilgrims", he needs to either provide the proof for this "scam" or withdraw the accusation. One's work in debunking fakes does not give that person the license to libel others." ENDS ps: I trust that ALL reasonable individuals seeing this post will respond in their own name jc
