RESPONSE:

I have posted the following response on the above blogsite, several
hours ago. Somehow, it has NOT yet appeared on the site. NOT very sure
if the site accepts responses from individuals who write in their own
name ... but here, for the record, is my response:

"I believe that ALL reasonable individuals should lobby for the repeal
of the archaic "blasphemy law". It must be noted that the said statute
has effectively been repealed by its general non-application. While
that is good, it is not good enough for the future.

That having been noted, IF Mr. Edamaruku has alleged  that "the clergy
at Velankanni Church in Mumbai were using the sight of water dripping
from the feet of a Christ statue to make money from visiting
pilgrims", he needs to either provide the proof for this "scam" or
withdraw the accusation.

One's work in debunking fakes does not give that person the license to
libel others." ENDS
