The parents and the board members got into a heated argument over the hike. The BoD meetings on April 2 and April 15, too had witnessed similar situations. Parents are demanding that the management reconsider its decision on the hike, bring in transparency in administration of schools and improve infrastructure. “They have agreed to discuss the issue and extend the last date for payment of fee at ISM and have also agreed to show audit reports to parents,” Reji Lal, a parent, told Muscat Daily. The last date for fees payment ISM was May 15, while a meeting between the school management and parents was scheduled on May 16. After the parents brought this to its notice, the BoD agreed to extend the last date by another few days Anant, a parent said, “It is not just the fee hike. There are many issues.
