Remember this Crawling velvety creatures ? Rain Related Usually seen after first day of Rain These beautiful velvety creatures are a wonder of nature. I do not think anyone has done any research on these beautiful, harmless creatures. We used to call them 'devachim gorvam' (God's cows). A blown up pic of a single one would have been helpful. Very interesting. Thanks. Another fascinating wild flower that used to be called 'tiger claws' (Vaga Naxi ful) that blooms later during monsoon, the plant is a creeper. Also the wild thorny bamboo (KaNki) flowers once in 12 years, it's seeds resemble 'black rice' and probably is edible. After flowering the plants die and new ones are born from these seeds..mostly in thick jungles.
