Sammy’s Tiatr worth watching The recently released tiatr by Sammy Tavares,’Aplea Burgeam Sangatak’ perfectly suits the today’s goan family life and passes a very strong message. The tiatr shows how today's son’s turn out to be so low and cheap to grab the ancestral house. One of the daughter- in- law even goes to the extent of forging the father-in-law’s signature so that they can sell the ancestral house to a builder. Cent percent marks for Justin and Felcy for their respective roles and the burning of the Christmas star is a very meaningful scene to watch. As usual John D'silva does justice to his comedy role.
With regard to songs, Marcus’s solo as an orphan boy stands high among all. The girl child singer is at her best and a special mention goes to Sammy’s solo regarding the Train ticket collector. The fatty Cajetan de Sanvordem makes a good dancing resulting in the good entertainment. Overall the tiatr is very much worth watching. A piece of advice to Sammy as the Curtain of Goa Police Head quarters turn out to be of short size at Ravindra bavan,Margao as the part of stage setting carried out behind the curtain can be seen by the Audience from both sides of the stage.
