M M DMello, in context of the large losses made by some of the prominent news media, writes: Indian Railways may have been incurring operating losses, but they are not closed down!!
The reason why they are not closed down is that the losses are financed by the state exchequer, actually the people of India. However, at least the manner of funding the losses is clear. In case of the media, in most cases, the funding of the losses is not clear. Best regards, U. G. Barad.
