Last week, the liturgy at a Special Service in a church in Bardez was pre-printed in Devnagiri. I was pleasantly surprised. I now prefer 'Riftic' to describe the so called 'Roman' script, and in any case, both scrawls share a common origin. The man in the street would exclaim " Kya, amhara hai ?" I say yes, AMHARA hai.
