This discussion was started by Soter, a spokesman of a group represented by the 
pronoun "we" below, in response to a news item. He tried to sell the members of 
Goanet a paranoid conspiracy theory that Siona Fernandes would have been denied 
her right to represent India at the Olympic games because she is a Christian. 
When it was pointed out that a Christian named Mary Kom is already representing 
India, he promptly modified the conspiracy theory to restrict its application 
only to Goan Christians. When it was further revealed that a Christian Goan 
named Leander Paes is in the Indian Olympic squad, the original conspiracy 
theory could not be stretched any more. So now two entirely new paranoid 
conspiracies have been cooked up. The one below is especially good because it 
has all the dog whistles and hot buttons together in one place, conspiring to 
persecute these poor victims referred to as "we".
