The stand taken by social action groups for several years now stands vindicated. The State excutive's dadagiri of imposing development projects and dictating affairs to Panchayats must stop immediately. We congratulate the Calangute Village Panchayat for taking the pains to obtain this historixcal verdict against a bully State Government.
