I am a bit confused with this ban....what are we trying to achieve?Can someone let me know. How clean are our beaches,what security measures have we adopted at the beaches be it for those who go for a swim or other wise ,or for women and tourists,when you say ban smoking is it just ciggrates or this includes drugs too? This title is a bit confusing when i read Goa to ban smoking on beaches or rather it should have been Goa Govt bans smoking etc etc.. We intend to ban this and that and so forth these funny ideas evolve when any Govt runs out of ideas so to keep pace and to show that they are really working for the benefit of the state in this scenario its Goa someone must have felt let's confuse the minds of Goenkars and bring this Ban .
We have so many clause of punishment for crimes in our IPC (Indian Penal Code) but unfortunately they are not severly implemented and that is the reason we keep on adding new rules and regulations ..my argument is to make Goa a free crime ,no corruption, jobs to the unemployed, safe etc etc . Ban on smoking ,Punishment if you commit rape, murder, or indulge in anti-social activities,or punishment for corruption and the list goes endless ...it's not the crime that one commits we should be bothered about but the severity of the punishment and the fear of law will put things in order in Goa .
