Whilst race consciousness dominates Egyptian society, Afro-Asians further along the Great Rift appear to mingle naturally. I saw African visages in the documentary. The Turks have banished the thought: they call that small group in their country Arabs. India appears to have a rifted valley in the form of the Narbada-Vindhya basin.
