Dears Watching a Goa Channel news telecast of the proceedings of the Goa Assembly, I was fascinated by a congratulatory resolution of the House wherein San Andre MLA Vishnu Surya Wagh was congratulated for having a poem of his published in a Std. XI Marathi textbook of some Maharashtra Board.
CM Manohar Parrikar was so excited by the achievement his colleague who commands a large OBC following, that he said that any poem or poems of his which Wagh feels is worth publishing, will also be published in whichever Goan textbooks he chooses. I thought that if ever I become a poet I hope I also become an MLA.
