Canada’s Relationship with India
On May 30, 2012, the Canadian International Council national capital
branch hosted an event on India’s emergence onto the global stage.
International Development Research Centre president David M. Malone, and
Peter Sutherland, senior business adviser for Asia to Aird and Berlis,
discussed India's rise and Canada’s interests in the bilateral relationship.

Members of the New York University School of Law community gathered on
October 20 to celebrate the launch of David M. Malone's Does the
Elephant Dance? Contemporary Indian Foreign Policy. A longtime adjunct
professor at NYU Law, David M. Malone is also the head of the
International Development Research Center, and was formerly the high
commissioner of Canada in India.
