Dears, It is possible that I have become cynical of the terms 'uhuru', "democracy" and the 'rule of law'.
I also believe that Goans should stop wasting time (unless they wish to) by getting involved in politics. Goans, esp the Catholics, have a clear choice - as far as I am concerned: Either study & work very very hard and honestly OR join the 'rut' race. I invite you to view the following. If you are encouraged by them, do advise. IF you believe that they are only exceptions, please do a search on Youtube. IF you truly believe that Goans live in a democracy where one is free to do what she/ he wants to do.... and that courts of law and lawyers will take care of infringements of law, have a sip of that obnoxious Caju Feni on me. written in 2001: http://www.colaco.net/1/OpinionPollMemories.htm 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PU5NElomJ7Y (please note what Sen Adv Colin Gonsalves has to say) 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FYSQYii5uBg&feature=related (OMG) 3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U_Ldy4Yb6lg&feature=related (Good God!) 4: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EDyyKPAeWWY (Does this make sense to you?) jc I am totally repulsed. et tu?
