Most of the non recognised, unorgaised, poor work force do not share in this largese These are no doubts are vote banks floaters at the nearness of election and by different political parties utter them to suit their agenda. It is perfectly normal to attract voters and the cause of the farmers is espoused by everyone.Their production, if increased it will control prices and directly benefit them too. The disposal income with the farmers can also fuel demand for consumer goods , but this has not happened, The vagaries of rain, seasonal natural calamities also impact production and profitability of the farmers. Lack of alternate occupations are also not encouraged to tide over in times of need and prevent suicides. It appears to be a cruel joke on the middle class and that the parties can ignore and slight the middle class, as their votes can be ignored in the final analysis, The new hypothesis of high inflation and high prices needs serious comments The poor and middle class are burdened under rising prices of essential and not so essential items of daily use.
