Jim F,
1) Rmoney has released just two years worth of tax returns. You have to trust
him when he says he has been paying a 14% tax  for the long term. After
all, he is the most trustworthy person in the Republican party and
the Presidential candidate.

2) I am glad to hear that you have no issue with your tax rate. I believe we
have lower tax rates in Canada. In addition, the bulk of our taxes are spent on
comprehensive medical services for ALL residents.

3) I quite enjoyed the show. I especially enjoyed Chris Crisco and
his blubbering.

4) Returning to the subject mater, I did a goggle search on what the convention
decided regarding the gold standard. There is no news on this subject.
Regardless, Bernanke spoke on the US economy this morning. I am not sure what
he said but the immediate reaction was that gold spiked up.
