Help other CONSUMERS to be better informed. ------------------------------******------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------- GOACAN alerts consumers about Rs. 5 reduction in price of LPG cylinders -------------------------------------------------------------- In the wake of a large number of complaints from LPG consumers received through the village based Consumer Forums and campus based Consumer Welfare Clubs, GOACAN alerts consumers about the reduction in the price of domestic LPG cylinders.
GOACAN appeals to all LPG Consumers in Goa to take note of the reduction in the price of the domestic 14.2kg LPG cylinder from Rs. 412/- to Rs. 406.50. The reduction of Rs. 5/- in the price per cylinder has come into force from 25th July 2012 and is applicable to consumers of HP Gas, Bharat Gas and Indane. Consumers are requested to check that the reduced price is reflected in the bills being issued by the respective LPG distributors and if there is any discrepancy to file a complaint with the Taluka Civil Supplies Inspector at the respective Mamlatdar office. Consumers may note that they are entitled to Home Delivery of their LPG cylinder refills free of transport cost within 5kms from the Distributors showroom and with a Rs.1/- per km transport charge beyond 5kms. GOACAN appeals to LPG consumers to book for refills by using the SMS facility of HP GAS and the Missed Call facility of Bharat Gas by contacting the respective distributor.
