In the cartoon, Trivedi took India’s national emblem of the Four (?)
Sarnath Lions of King Asoka that sit above the motto “Satyameva
Jayate” (truth alone shall triumph) and re-drew them as bloodthirsty
wolves on the re-worded motto “Bhrashtameva Jayate” (long live
corruption):

Trivedi's cartoons shown in the link are quite interesting. But,
possibly the depiction of national emblem with 3 lions replaced by
blood thirsty wolves with the motto “Bhrashtameva Jayate” (long live
corruption):  was too much for the govt.?
