http://kractivist.wordpress.com/2012/09/04/indian-cartoonist-aseem-trivedi/ In the cartoon, Trivedi took India’s national emblem of the Four (?) Sarnath Lions of King Asoka that sit above the motto “Satyameva Jayate” (truth alone shall triumph) and re-drew them as bloodthirsty wolves on the re-worded motto “Bhrashtameva Jayate” (long live corruption): Trivedi's cartoons shown in the link are quite interesting. But, possibly the depiction of national emblem with 3 lions replaced by blood thirsty wolves with the motto “Bhrashtameva Jayate” (long live corruption): was too much for the govt.? MD
