Mydear Eddie, JC.... The good chap, my good friends appears to have done a clean Lutton!
Over the last years, I have received numerous angxious enquiries about the man's whereabouts. One officious Goaness had, even, submited a notice to be read at Mass, in our Church asking for prayers for his soul. I, equally officiously, intervened and the announcement was left unread. No signs, none, vital or otherwise, from this world or any other, resolutely unobtainable.... If you would send me the picture in question, I could ascertain. However, in the early years, after the "invasao" ca '63, '63 I had the pleasant pleasure of meeting SA at a party given by a few friends, sportsmen all of them, for him at Chandor. Martin was not at that meet. Present were, AFAICR, Zezinho, Rls goallie, Anthony & Santan, fwds, then of Salgaocar, later of TATAs/India Rlws, my great friend Alberto Perreira & quite a few others. Right through the night we certainly indulged a couple of pots "coucos".... If you do run him down, MG not SA, please inform & oblige...
