I have watched today's TV Channels coverage of the mining news post Shah
Commission Report with sadness on my face and tears in my eyes, not for
anything else, but because the advantage this report has given Manohar
Parrikar to make sack-full of crores of rupees for his onward journey in the
Government.
Why?
First. Only a couple of LDCs and a few Junior Geologists have been suspended
by the Parrikar Govt. How come? What happened to the Bandicoots who were
sitting in command dishing out orders and cutting corners to suit their
ministerial bosses to these poor sods?? Who will suspend them? If it was
GSRP in command, a lot of top necks would have found the noose, already,
not unsuspecting LDCs and Junior Geologists who were just running errands.
Second. All 90 mines operating in Goa are technically closed from tomorrow,
11th. September, 2012. These include (1) Legal Mines with small flaws here
and there, (2) Legal mines with big flaws and corners cut rampantly, (3)
Illegal mines with small flaws and (4) Illegal mines with big gapping flaws.
There are hardly any mines operating in Goa without flaws, illegal or legal.
Currency filled suitcases will start walking up the stairs of the Nova Goa
BJP office from all (1) to (4) quarters, each one falling over the other to
be the first. The heaviest ones will be from those illegal mines with small
flaws who will want to be saved at all costs.
However, all the CHORS , Legal as well as Illegal will have to pay most
heavily through laden suitcases to ship the already mined illegal ore which
is cleared to be shipped out. And here lies the catch. This ore should have
been seized until each and every ton of it was verified and cleared to be
shipped. Oh no!. The excuse is that the truckers and their families will go
hungry.That Goa's economy will crumble. This is a load of bull. If Manohar
Parrikar wants us to believe this, then he thinks that we are all stupid as
cucumbers.
Dear Shah Commission. Your Report has come in handy for the Power Hungry
Wolf whose appetite for Power cannot ever be satiated. He has gone on his
knees a begging for forgiveness for his past sins and he has made bloody
fools out of slumbering Goans, mostly the so called Catholics.
From tomorrow onwards, Manohar Parrikar will not be counting the tons of
illegal ore dug out of Goa. He will be counting crore-laden suitcases.
However, I do not envy Manohar Parrikar for he has been smart enough to "
Amcheam Goemkaranchea Kanant Galcheak".
Only thing is that I feel that I should curse us stupid Goans for not using
our brains if they are at all worth using.
If GSRP had anything to do with these mining investigations, it would
thoroughly investigate the mega Chors running Goa's Mining business in the
name and style of GMOEA [ GOA MINERAL ORE EXPORTER'S ASSOCIATION] as against
the GMA [GOA MINING ASSOCIATION] which is the conglomerate of mostly legal
mining firms of Goa, riddled with flaws, of course, without doubt and with
POLITICAL BLESSINGS.
