Last year Tehelka (the magazine) had organized the programme in Goa, too. At the time, there was a report that the organizers had demanded Rs 150 lakhs from the Goa government. They eventually settled for Rs 50 lakhs. I do not know if this included the two dinners that they hosted for the participants in the programme.
This year the programme is in early November. The details are available at: http://thinkworks.in/ I understand that last year Remo refused to participate in the programme on account of the owner of the hotel where it was held it is the same place this year too. Does anyone know if any prominent Goan is participating? Or whether the Goa government is making any financial contribution, either in cash or kind? Best regards, U. G. Barad
