Good catch JC. It was 1961 as we hopefully all know by now. With due respect to the memories and erudition of Goans -- how can one wonder, including perhaps even remotely and inadvertently alluding to relevant synonyms for "wonder" such as: shock, fascination, bewilderment, awe (for real), and concern -- when one knows. The question of being amazed cannot arise when one knows? If it was otherwise, one would slide into/ clash into an antonym for "wonder."
Stay awake all.
