COMMENTS:

What the author says in his last para is of utmost significance.
If Kejriwal wants to play a serious, long-term role in India\'s evolving democracy he must shift from politics of agitation to the politics of reforms

Needless to say that we like the author\'s views except those on Anna Hazare. Yes, Anna Hazare has proved himself as a super activist. But activism by itself is not the solution for this country. There is a limit as to how much a person can do over a period of time before fatigue sets in. The activism must be coupled with clean political ideology where the governance is put at the center-stage of reforms. If governance is clean, rest automatically follows suit. The Rule of Law must be established which holds good from the PM and the President of the Country to the lowly wage earner with justice meted out speedily and without acrimonious delays. Common sense must take over from the lengthy processes of law.

The Goa Su-Raj Party of 12 years going is just that. A Reforms Party. Activism is necessary to prove the intent. But not at the Party level. It should be at the personal level of the Executives of the Party. This is the case in point with GSRP where it\'s founding member has been a Social Activist for many many years since 1997 and before, and has 6 successful Suo Moto PIL Writ Petitions in the HC of Bombay at Goa with another few WPs of which two are ongoing.

Governance reforms do not come easy. It takes time. There must never be a HURRY. If there is a HURRY, there is always a likely chance that the broth is sure to be spoilt as too many cooks will be needed to be employed to dish out the broth in a hurry which in deed spoils it. Slow and steady is the by-word if one is serious about REFORMS. The angle of HURRY becomes prevalent when there is too much money chasing the endeavour. That is why GSRP has, during it\'s formation, made this angle totally redundant. Money is a must as a MEANS but not as the END.

ARE WE AT GSRP HAPPY??
The answer is YES. Otherwise, over the 12 years of it\'s existence, GSRP would be, by now, referred to in the past tense.

According to us KEJRIWAL is the PHENOMENON that India has been lacking since it\'s Independence. He must remain a Phenomenon and take heed not to be in too much of a hurry. What he has done so far and what he is going to do in the immediate future with reference to exposing the corrupt political class is a feather in his cap. But this feather must not whither away and imperatively must remain as a BEACON for the onward movement for REFORMS in the way India is GOVERNED.

Goa Su-Raj Party strongly believes that Parliamentary Elections must be contested by National Parties only AND/OR by a Federation of State Regional Parties. with a reciprocating understanding by the National Parties that the 'State Elections' shall be the prerogative of State Registered Political Parties only. Even then, and in the absence of such a ruling by the Election Commission of India, GSRP would want GOANS who are ERUDITE, knowledgeable about India and its problems, as well as World affairs, 'STATESMEN/WOMEN' , to contest on it's 'TICKET' in the coming 2014 Parliamentary Elections. Let GOA endeavour to send two real Parliamentarians to the House of the People in New Delhi for once.
