The Tiatr Academy of Goa (TAG) Campal Panaji Goa will this year organise the 132nd birth anniversary celebration of the first lady ever to perform on stage in Bombay (now Mumbai) on 22.11.1904 late Regina Fernandes the wife of late Joao Agostinho Fernandes "Pai Tiatrist" at Big Foot Loutolim Goa.
On this ocassion the " Tiatr Hall of Fame" which is being set up at the Big Foot, Loutolim will be inaugurated by Mr Dayanand Mandrekar Hon'ble Minister for Art and Culture Govt of Goa in the presence of Guest of Honour Mr Vishnu Surya Wagh Chairman Kala Academy Goa. The function will be followed by musical entertainment by Connie M and his troupe. Prince Jacob, President of TAG has invited all tiatr lovers to grace this unique celebrations. On this ocassion the family of Pai Tiatrist, octogenarian Ms Ana Maria Carolina Quadros Fernandes and her daughter Sharmila Fernandes and children will be present. The family has also as in the past years extended invitation to all tiatr lovers and well meaning persons to visit their the over 145 years old House of Pai Tiatrist - Joao Agostinho Fernandes at 306 Modsai, Behind Holy Spirit Institute, Margao Goa on this ocassion.
