Friends, Goans,Countrymen, lend me your Ears...and if you disagree, just listen to her voice.....is there another Goan Nightingale who can carry a tune as eloquently as Lorna? If you disagree, then you surely have no ear for music . If she refuses details of her private life to be portrayed and disclosed in a film then let it be. Here we are again, dragging down a person, A TRUE GOAN STAR, through the dust just to smear her and drag her down as is our tradition. We Goans, as I have said in several of my posts, emanating from this small dot on the map have achieved so much and excelled in every field of life and should be proud of our achievements. Instead, we constantly pull down and minimize and indeed demoralize the success of our own kind just for the sake of it. Instead of being proud, we it would seem, diminish success and take pride in bringing our own kind down.This is truly a shame. Why cannot we Goans cherish the Glory of our achievements in the knowledge that we are all imperfect humans and have our failings, non the less, our achievements must be a matter of pride which must be cherished instead of denigrated.
