The 2012 International Goan Youth Convention in Goa is less than 4 weeks away,
from Dec 26-Jan 1.

Here is what one attendee writes: "I'm especially excited to meet youth from
around the world, I think the convention will be a fun interactive way to
collaborate and share our ideas. I'm also looking forward to enhancing my
knowledge of our shared Goan culture." (Shilla)

Please continue to share information about the convention and flyer on your
Facebook pages, websites, e-groups, and with association members, contacts,
friends and family. We do not want any Goan youth to find out about the
convention after it is over and miss this rare opportunity.

About 200 enthusiastic and dynamic Goan expat and local Goan youth are expected
to participate in the event. The convention combines fun with serious fare and
is an exciting youth event not to be missed.

With it's theme of "Our roots, our future", the convention is a great
opportunity for Goan youth (ages 15-35) from all over the world to learn more
about their ancestral land. They will get a chance to meet, network and connect
with other youth and also get a peek into the challenges and opportunities of
current-day Goa. Besides the main convention on Dec 29 - 30, 2012, other
interesting optional activities have been planned from Dec 26 - Jan 1. These
include visits to a museum, art gallery and an observatory, an opportunity to
watch local artisans at work, visit a spice farm, and much, much more. More
details can be seen at http://goasudharop.org/images/Goa_flyer10.pdf
